When they pulled away from each other, Optimus waited for her answer. She smiled as she gazed at him, her hand moved slowly down the side of his face, dirt and oil covered her hand but she didn't care. Then the words Optimus wanted to hear came from the lips of her. "You have been my friend for a very long time, Optimus. There is none other that I want to be my lover and my life partner, yes, I will marry you."

Optimus smiled and held her hand in his as he lifted her hand to his mouth plate and kissed her hand. They sat there, as no other words needed, their link was stronger then words. They did not have to say a thing to know what the other was feeling.

It was later that evening, when Lennox found Elizabeth asleep on the bay next to Prime.  Her head was on his chest, the Autobot leader was still in recharge mode, and didn't try to get up as Lennox approached, his optics landed on Lennox. "I'd get up, Lennox but don't think I am recharged enough yet."

"Ratchet told me that you would need at least a night to be strong enough," Lennox replied, as he lifted a blanket up over the sleeping female, who was being held by Optimus's uninjured side. "I heard the news by the way, big man, congrats."

Optimus smiled his thanks as Lennox left the two alone in the med bay hanger, Optimus closed down his optics and slipped into recharge mode, Elizabeth only stirred a little before she fell back into a deep sleep.

The next morning, after the green light from Ratchet, Optimus was able to get up and he quickly transformed into truck mode to go see the rest of the team since he was back at full charge and ready to go back into action. Elizabeth, on the other hand, had shifted back to her normal size, went to shower and have breakfast.

"Nice to see you up and functioning, Optimus, it was a very close call," Ironhide stated as his leader pulled into the hanger.

"Thanks Ironhide, it was very close." Optimus took his spot and monitored what was happening around him.

Later, Elizabeth and Arcee entered the hanger together, the femme was talking to Elizabeth about Earth dating customs as the two had a good chuckle about it. Optimus noted that Elizabeth got on well with all of his team. He was glad that they took to her as well as they did with the rest, he held fear that they wouldn't like her but his fears were unfounded.

The rest of the N.E.S.T. team came in to start their day of monitoring for Decepticons from the night crew. Elizabeth accepted the laptop Lennox handed over to her as she made her way to where Optimus was parked at. Usually, she would sit down where she was at and monitor but this time she picked sitting next to Optimus.

Optimus observed her approaching him with a cat like grace, she had got up onto his hood and was sitting there with the laptop by her side before she stretched out her limbs before she flipped open the laptop and started to scan the screen that appeared. Optimus didn't really mind that she had picked his hood to be where she would be working at as long as he got to spend time with her. It was not too long after that, she was leaning against the glass windows as she worked on the reports. "We went though a lot of water last month." she commented, mainly to herself.

"Didn't help that the twins had knocked over the water tower," Optimus replied. The twins were being troublesome again.

"I had never seen you yell so much, hun. I thought you would have kick them into next year," Elizabeth chuckled.

"Those two are young but so is Bumblebee but at least he listens. I just hope I can get through to them to make them see that war is no joke," Optimus stated.

"I know love, I've seen enough war and death to know that every choice . . . every single action during a battle can mean life or death. There is no room for their current antics on the battle field." Elizabeth whispered.

It was only few short hours later, she finished her work. She knew the pattern the Decepticons were most likely repairing the damages done during the battle, but they would show up sooner or later they always did.

It was later that night, the alarms went off, Elizabeth went with Optimus as he backed up into the air craft, she joined him as he was being secured within the plane. "Do you think Megatron will be in for a shock when he sees you Optimus, well since he believes that you are dead?"

Optimus replied with a chuckle, as more straps were placed over his hood. "Yes, he will be shocked to see me alive."

Soon, the plane was in the air and flying towards the drop site and the possible battle with the Decepticons.
